Radiant’s Automatic Failover service provides your location with two Internet connections. If the primary connection fails, the security appliance will automatically route all traffic via the secondary connection, until the primary link is repaired and becomes available once again. It’s peace of mind for your business.
There are two types of failover:
Automatic Failover – Broadband
This is for businesses that rely on network uptime because of heavy use transaction processing, and/or other applications that require high speed. We provide a secondary broadband connection, such as Cable or Fixed Wireless, and we’ll source it from another provider to maximize redundancy.
Automatic Failover – Dialup
Radiant provides you with a security appliance that has a built‐in analog modem, and includes an unlimited dialup connection for backup. This is suitable for businesses that have low bandwidth requirements such as just debit/credit processing.
