Position Summary

Radiant is seeking to expand our sales team with direct sales professionals with high tech industry experience as Account Executives based out of Toronto.  In this role, you will use a consultative selling approach to market and sell Radiant Virtual Computing Services (Virtual Data Centres, Private servers and Microsoft Exchange) and Data Connectivity Services to key large and multi-location accounts.  

You have a track record of success in prior sales roles and you are a goal-oriented and self-disciplined sales professional.  You excel at developing new business with new customers and proactively generate leads. As a valued business partner, your strong relationship building skills mean your customers follow you wherever you go.  You are proactive and seek to understand your customer needs and work to solve their business problems with solutions that only Radiant’s unique combination of products and services can provide.  You are an excellent negotiator with both internal and external stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

Achieve or exceed quarterly sales and revenue targets for Radiant products and services by:

  • Proactively prospecting assigned territory through networking within your own and Radiant’s customer base, researching, reading articles, internet research, and cold calling
  • Establishing trusting relationships with customers             
  • Diagnose customer needs and collaborate with internal product and operations staff to develop a potential solution
  • Establishing value with the customer for Radiant’s product offerings
  • Gaining access to decision-makers
  • Positioning proof, ROI and the total solution
  •  Negotiating a win-win
  • Following up to ensure customer success
  • Nurturing relationships with existing and prospective client accounts at all levels of management
  • Identifying priorities, issue, and challenges and applying planning skills to achieve results
  • Working cooperatively and effectively with fellow sales team members and Radiant clients

 
Skills and Experience Required

  • 10+ years of successful corporate sales or account management experience in the B2B Information Technology, Advanced Hosting, Cloud Computing, Internet, and/ or Communications Industries in Canada
  • Demonstrated success in generating and hunting new business
  • Experience in selling connectivity, cloud computing, private networks, and/or hosted applications to the Medium-sized and multi-location Business Market a must
  • Understanding of the Internet and the business drivers related to Internet-based solutions and services, such as DSL, VPNs, firewalls
  • Proven ability to develop effective industry focused selling campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and passion to create win-win situations for partners and clients.
  • A university degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing environment without close supervision. 
  • Build trust, value others and demonstrate high level of professionalism and integrity  
  • Goal oriented, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales and other personal and professional goals
  • Demonstrated combination of creative, technical and analytical skills that have provided innovative and flexible solutions for prior customers
  • Dedication to the creation and maintenance of a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and CRM software coupled with the ability to write high quality winning sales proposals
